FIG World Cup in Baku – colorful show: Japanese gymnast
By Trend
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup is more like a colorful show than a usual competition, Japanese gymnast Kazuyuki Takeda told Trend on March 16.
“The competition hall is very spacious and there is a lounge upstairs, which I really like. Overall, the competition is organized at a high level,” he said.
The first day of the new Olympic cycle’s first FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku March 16 and will continue until March 19. Athletes from 23 countries will perform at the World Cup to be hosted by the Azerbaijani capital for the second time.
Qualifications will be held on the first two days of the event followed by the Apparatus Finals on last two days.
