New flight en route Ashgabat- Donetsk opened
Turkmen Havo Yullari (Turkmenistan Airlines) reported that a regular flight has opened between the cities of Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) and Donetsk (Ukraine).
According to the airline, the flights will be performed with the comfortable Boeing 737-700 airliners with a frequency of once a week.
Turkmenistan Airlines reports that opening this route will not only expand opportunities for Turkmenistan's and Ukraine's citizens in tourist trips to friendly countries, but also serve as an intensification of Turkmen-Ukrainian trade, economic and humanitarian relations.
Since 2008, Turkmen Havo Yullari has been carrying out flights with a frequency of three times a week to the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. In August 2013, a regular flight was opened between Ashgabat and Ukrainian city of Lvov.
The majority of passengers on these flights are students studying at Ukrainian universities, representatives of business sectors, as well as holidaymakers who make tourist and private travel arrangements.
