Iran to turn gasoline exporter soon
By Trend
The First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri says Iran will soon turn into gasoline exporter, IRNA reported.
Speaking to a group of officials in Kerman Province, Jahangiri said Iran has now turned into exporter of gasoil, once used to be its importer.
“Iran is now major gasoil exporter and will soon turn into exporter of gasoline,” said the Veep.
The oil fields common with other countries was one of the main pivots of economy of resistance last year, said the official, adding that just almost eight years ago, Iran’s amount of gas extraction from South Pars almost equaled that of Qatar and when current government took office, the Qataris extracted gas from the field twice that of ours. “Such a gap should be interpreted as plunder of public wealth: The share and right of Iranian nation was plundered by a miniature state.”
During the period, the focus was shifted to South Pars and the amount of extraction of Iran equaled with that of Qatar to the extent that in the calendar year of 1396 (March 21, 2017-March 20. 2018) Iran’s amount of extraction from South Pars will exceed that of Qatar, he boasted.
He also announced that Iran’s oil recovery from common fields west of Karoon River has increased.
