President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev won’t be able to visit Azerbaijan and Armenia October 12-14 due to a cold-related disease, Nazarbayev’s Press Secretary Aidos Ukibay wrote on the Kazakh president official website’s Facebook page.
Some adjustments in the working schedule of the Kazakh president have been made and his participation in international events is not planned until the end of this week, Ukibay said.
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov will take part in the session within the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) meeting in Yerevan, he added.
Kazakh president’s press secretary noted that Nazarbayev currently undergoes planned treatment due to a cold-related disease, and the overall state of his health causes no worries.
Nazarbayev was going to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on October 12, where he was expected to meet with the Azerbaijani leadership.
In Yerevan, Nazarbayev was expected to join the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO at the level of heads of state on October 14.
