A beautiful collection of tapestries by Azerbaijani artist Adil Shikhaliyev has been displayed at the Vajiha Samadova Exhibition Hall of the Azerbaijani Artists’ Union, Trend Life reports.

The speakers highly appreciated the creativity of the Azerbaijani artist and wished him success in his efforts to create a more incredibly vibrant works of art.
Adil Shikhaliyev has been creating tapestries since 1974. Sometimes it takes from two to eight months to complete one work. All depends on the complexity of the work and the size of the tapestry. Shikhaliyev drafts sketches for tapestries, but also creates the tapestries.
"Each sketch has its own color and shape. Therefore, each work needs specific attention", he believes.
The exhibition displays over 60 tapestries, a few of which are entered a Fund of the Culture and Tourism Ministry .
