Azerbaijan’s State Theatre of Young Spectators started rehearsals of a new children's show, Trend Life reports. The play "Tulku Tulku tumbaki" by a member of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, Simaha is staged by theater director Gulnar Hajiyeva.

The artistic director of the play is People's artist of Azerbaijan Vagif Asadov, production designer-Elnur Akhundov, composer-Rufat Ramazanov, choreographer-Vusal Mehraliyev, assistant director-Tadjaddin Imanov.

Zulfiya Aguseynova, Irada Rashidoca, Aygun Fatullayeva, Nurana Akhmedova, Natig Farzaliyev, Eldar Imanov, Elgun Yahyayev, Eshgin Guliyev, Yusif Dadashov, Elnur Aliyev, Elshad Shikhaliev, Bahram Hasanov, Anar Safiyev and Aydin Damirov will perform in the play.

Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators was established on March 15, 1927, in Baku, on the basis of Children's Theatre and artistic amateur drama circles of pioneers and students. The "Storm" play written on initiative of 14-year-old Aghadadash Gurbanov laid the foundation of the Children Theater.

Since July 18, 1936 in Baku Children's Theatre was renamed as "Azerbaijan State Young Spectators Theatre" basing on order of Azerbaijan People's Commissariat for Education, and named after Maxim Gorki.
