Baku Chess Olympiad announces partners
Baku Chess Olympiad Operating Committee announced the companies,
which will support the 42nd Chess Olympiad to be held in Baku this
September.
The 42nd World Chess Olympiad signed a cooperation agreement with
SOCAR, Azercell, Türk Hava Yolları, Qatar Airways, SMARTSCORİNG,
“Meqa Sığorta” ASC, Modern Hospital, Badamlı, Tudor, Lavazza,
Milla, Jalə and Tranquini.
With 2,000 chess masters from 180 counties, FIDE’s biennial chess tournament, will gather teams from all over the world to compete for the best title.
The opening ceremony of the Olympiad will be held in the National Gymnastics Arena, while charming Crystal Hall, once hosting Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, will host the games.
The Olympiad, scheduled for September 1-14, will take place in the Crystal Hall, once hosting Eurovision Song Contest in 2012.
