Serbia's Vucic visits Azerbaijan

Aleksandar Vucic, the Serbian prime minister has embarked on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was arranged on April 13 for the Serbian premier at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
Vucic was welcomed by Ali Ahmadov, the Azerbaijani deputy prime minister and other officials.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia were established in August 1997.
The trade turnover between the two countries was $3,836 million in 2014, according to the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee.
Serbia exports agricultural products, equipment and pumps for the oil and gas industry, as well as furniture and building materials to Azerbaijan.
The two countries signed several documents in the legal sphere. The draft agreements on the protection and quarantine of plants, international cargo traffic, health care, and medicine are still to be ratified.
