Azerbaijan, Brazil to mull defense issues

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's delegation is on a visit to Brazil at an official invitation of the Brazil's defense department.
The delegation's two-day visit to Brazil started on April 28, Defense Ministry said.
Head of the international military cooperation department of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Major-General Ramiz Najafov is leading the delegation.
The Azerbaijani delegation will hold several meetings at the Brazilian Defense Ministry, where the sides will exchange views on the development of relations between the two countries.
They will also discuss defining of the direction and prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil in the field of defense.
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Brazil were established in 1993. Brazilian Embassy in Azerbaijan was opened in June 2009. Azerbaijan's Embassy was established in Brazil in 2012.
